FOX Predictions: Sleepy Hollow about to meet its doom?

Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is, besides the effectively cancelled Minority Report, the lowest rating drama on FOX. The ratings of the dramas (with exception of Empire of course) are fairly close to each other so there is still much room and time for change. However, being on the bottom of the totem pole is never a good sign.

The Grinder and Grandfathered are both one of the lowest rating comedy shows on the network. However, with both shows getting episode orders only two weeks ago, their future still looks quite bright. For now anyway. FOX could decide to pick up the shows for a full season, and cancel it in May after all.

This week's TV Watch U.S. predictions for the other networks:

  • Madison_DiMaria

Sleepy Hollow is doing the best it possibly can, given FOX sat on their butts and didn’t do anything to give the show exposure until it was a week out from Season 3. Moving it to the toughest night on tv didn’t do it any favors either. If FOX cancels this show, they might as well cancel everything in their fall lineup not named Empire, because this show isn’t the only one suffering.

    • Emily Donovan

Unfortunately this is how networks treat their shows sometimes. However, a show like that rarely survives more than one season of neglect. We’ll see how Sleepy Hollow fares in the coming weeks.

    Isn’t the Simpsons already renewed?

    • Emily Donovan

It certainly is, in May it was renewed through 2016-17. We must have forgotten to change its status. Thank you for the warning!
