Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on TBS and TNT:
- The Last Ship Renewed for Season 4 at TNT (August 1st)
- TBS renews The Detour for Season 2 ahead of Series Premiere (April 6th)
Turner Broadcasting-owned networks TNT and TBS have renewed a total of three series. At TNT, gritty Ellen Barkin drama Animal Kingdom has earned itself a second season. TBS comedies Wrecked and Angie Tribeca have been renewed for second and third seasons, respectively.
TBS is working hard on its rebranding that it started in January, marked by the premieres and quick renewals of comedies Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, The Detour, and now Wrecked and Angie Tribeca (again). Animal Kingdom is marking a new direction for TNT as well, trying to shed its image of breezy police procedurals.
Both Animal Kingdom and Angie Tribeca will return in early 2017 with their new seasons, while Wrecked will also be back somewhere in 2017.
