You’re probably not even done writing down all the premiere and finale dates CBS announced on Wednesday (including finally a premiere date for Person Of Interest, and also for Mike & Molly and The Odd Couple), but the network thought to add some more premiere dates to your write-down-in-calendar queue.

To that end, CBS has announced premiere dates for two new and two returning summer series. First up is new series BrainDead, followed by Big Brother and fellow newcomer American Gothic. The schedule is rounded out by the season premiere of sophomore Zoo.

BrainDead is a comedic thriller hailing from The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King. It revolves around a young Capitol Hill staffer (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Mercy Street) who discovers on her first day that all congressmen have been replaced by brain-eating aliens. The series will premiere on Monday, June 13 at 10/9c.

On Wednesday, June 22nd at 8/7c, Big Brother will have a two-hour premiere, moving into the Wednesdays at 8/7c, Thursdays at 9/8c and Sundays at 8/7c timeslots.

On that same date, Wednesday June 22nd, American Gothic will air its series premiere at 10/9c. American Gothic is an upcoming murder-mystery show executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The show centers on a prominent Boston family whose patriarch dies. Shortly after his death, the family discovers links between him and a string of murders.

Finally, on Tuesday, June 28, Zoo will have a two-hour season premiere starting at 9/8c.

  • Not Fooled

Has “BriainDead” been canceled? I don’t see it on the schedule after 6-27-2016.

    • No, BrainDead is not cancelled, although it is not doing great in the ratings. Maybe the schedule you are looking at is not up to date? It will be off for one week but return on 7/11.
