America Ferreira and Ben Feldman are on Cloud 9, since NBC has renewed their comedy Superstore for a second season. The renewal comes just days after the workplace comedy aired its first season finale. It is currently unclear for how many episodes the series has been renewed.

The 11-episode first season of Superstore did pretty well in the ratings for a freshman comedy. After a launch behind The Voice in late November, the show got very decent ratings in its regular Monday timeslot in January and February. Averaging a 1.55 in Adults 18-49 in Live+Same Day, and a 2.1 in that demographic in Live+7 Days, the show has actually become the second highest rating freshman comedy in broadcast TV, behind only the The Big Bang Theory-boosted Life In Pieces on CBS. It also makes Superstore NBC’s most-watched rookie comedy since About A Boy in 2014.

Have a heavenly day!
