Six-hour event series Ascension follows a group of hundreds of men, women, and children who embarked on a century-long voyage aboard the Ascension in 1963. Their mission was to populate a new world. Fifty years into their journey, however, a young woman is murdered which causes the ship's crew to question their mission.
