Summary
Based on the eponymous 2006 Gillian Flynn novel, Sharp Objects centers on reporter Camille Parker (Amy Adams). After a short stay at a psychiatric hospital, Parker returns to her tiny hometown and is tasked with covering the murders of two preteen girls. Looking into the murders while struggling with a psychological puzzle from her own past, she finds herself identifying with the victims a bit too much.
