Designated Survivor

Synopsis:
Designated Survivor revolves around a lower level Cabinet member (Kiefer Sutherland) who is the designated survivor; the one Cabinet member that is safely hidden away during events such as the State of the Union to ensure government continuity in the unlikely event of an attack that kills the President and his direct successors. When the unthinkable happens, Sutherland’s character is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack that wipes out a large chunk of the Presidential line of succession.
