Summary


Black-ish explores the issue of assimilating, but retaining ones cultural identity at the same time. African-American Andre Johnson (Anthony Anderson) and his wife Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross) are living the American dream: successful careers, four kids and an upper class suburban home. Dre starts to see his life differently when he is being promoted to ‘urban’ Vice President and his son wants to have a Bar Mitzvah, and he relapses into very traditional African rites.
