Set in 1814, Taboo follows James Delaney (Tom Hardy, Band Of Brothers), an adventurer who has been to the ends of the earth and who returns to Britain a changed man. He was believed to be long dead, but he returns to inherit what is left of his father’s shipping empire. But much like his father, James is not safe with this new life he is building for himself.

Review: Star (FOX) – Way too many flaws to be the next Empire

Star has many flaws that prevent it from being the next Empire. Queen Latifah is trying her best to be the Cookie Lyon of Star, but the writing doesn’t allow her to be as charismatic, eccentric and over-the-top as Taraji P. Henson is in Empire.
