Due to the Winter Olympics, The CW has put most of its scripted series on hiatus. This means we will be back with new predictions after the Winter Olympics on March 4.

The CW is clearly not as intimidated by the Winter Olympics as the other broadcast networks. Next week, Crazy Ex-girlfriend will air its season finale. However, let’s not pretend like Crazy Ex-girlfriend really has much to lose. Even with a meager 0.2 Adults 18-49 rating, the show is still likely to be renewed, meaning one (even worse) rating is not going to hurt its chances.

It’s slightly more surprising that Black Lightning will not go on a hiatus for the full duration of the Winter Olympics. Next week, the superhero drama will still air an episode, as the only scripted series on the broadcast networks, apart from Crazy Ex-girlfriend. Black Lightning, however, has been doing quite well, albeit with fluctuating ratings. It will be interesting to see how Black Lightning will hold up on its own during the Winter Olympics.
