There is not a lot going on at NBC lately. The four Dick Wolf shows (Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) are Certain Renewals, as is comedy Superstore. Fellow comedies The Good Place and Will & Grace have already been renewed.

Great News is low-rating, has no full season and its episodes were being burned off over the holidays. Clearly, that indicates that the NBC brass have no faith in the show anymore, and therefore, it is a Likely Cancellation.

Freshman The Brave has received no back-order either, and it wasn’t doing too well in the ratings either. Fall freshmen without a back-order hardly ever make the cut, so The Brave is a Certain Cancellation.

That leaves The Blacklist and Blindspot. Blindspot is in its third full season, and although it is from an outside studio, that indicates that it will be renewed. The Blacklist is the most uncertain of the bunch, with ratings that may just be enough for a renewal, but a sixth season for a show is also getting more and more expensive. For now, it remains a Likely Renewal.
