Just yesterday at its TCA Winter Press Tour Presentation, CBS announced the renewal of its freshman comedy Young Sheldon. With it being the network’s highest-rating freshman comedy, and its second-highest rating comedy overall, this news came as no surprise.

With that news in mind, let’s take a look at CBS’ other comedies. The Big Bang Theory has already been renewed, and Mom and Life In Pieces are doing well in the ratings and are already Certain Renewals. Kevin Can Wait is doing nearly as well as Life In Pieces and will therefore also become a Certain Renewal.

That leaves the series that are in more danger. Me, Myself & I is already Effectively Cancelled, and freshman 9JKL is the network’s lowest-rating comedy, which makes it a Certain Cancellation.

The only two that are now left are Man With A Plan and Superior Donuts. With two of its three freshman comedies (nearly) cancelled, and Young Sheldon not easy to replicate, Man With A Plan looks safe as well. Superior Donuts‘ fate will largely hinge on the performance of midseason comedy Living Biblically, but it looks quite good too. Man With A Plan and Superior Donuts are Likely Renewals.
