We at TV Watch U.S. hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, or for all non-Americans, had a great normal Turkeyday¬†Thursday. Today we’re back to business as usual.

Chicago Med premiered this week with very respectable ratings. Enjoying the lead-in of ratings-hit This Is Us, Chicago managed to achieve good ratings. Although it only managed to retain about 50% of the rating of This Is Us, the series performed better than most other dramas did this season. With the show being in its third season, and thus a syndication deal just around the corner, Chicago Med is immediately upgraded to a Certain Renewal.

Meanwhile, we will upgrade the series The Blacklist to a likely renewal. Although its ratings are worrisome, NBC will have other shows to worry about. The fact that The Blacklist is already in syndication means the show will likely slip through the cracks.
