Get ready for more Dynasty; The CW has picked up its reboot of the ABC classic for a full season. Dynasty‘s first season adds 9 episodes to the current 13, totaling 22 for the first season.

Bad news if you’re one of the few fans of Valor, because that show will not get a back-order, and its first season will stay at the originally ordered 13 episodes.

Both Dynasty and Valor are getting very low ratings even for The CW’s standards. However, Dynasty already has a lucrative deal with Netflix, which means the show is going to be profitable no matter what its ratings. Valor is not so lucky, hence no back-order.

The CW has pointed out that Valor is not officially cancelled yet, but that the network will take a look at the show’s On Demand performance before deciding on its fate come May. The network did the same thing with Frequency and No Tomorrow last year. Both were cancelled after all.
