TNT has cancelled its contemporary Shakespeare drama Will after just one low-rating season. Halfway through its run, the show was moved to the 11/10c timeslot, which already spelled doom for the show.

The show premiered to low ratings, and it only went downhill from there. Will starred Laurie Davidson in the titular role and the cast also included Olivia DeJonge, Colm Meaney and Mattias Inwood.

Other TNT newcomers Claws and Good Behavior did better in the ratings and were both renewed. TNT has one more new series in the pipeline to premiere later this year; period drama The Alienist.
