NBC Predictions: Chicago Justice Renewed, Trial & Error on the Chopping Block

Trial & Error

Trial & Error

This week Trial & Error aired new episodes on both Tuesday and Thursday. Clearly, airing on Thursday was a bad idea, as the show dropped 2 tenths in the Adults 18-49 demographic, from a rating of about 0.8. Next week, the series finale, pardon me, season finale will air in its usual timeslot on Tuesdays. However, its rating isn’t going to matter that much, as the show just isn’t really working for NBC. Trial & Error is certain to be cancelled.

In the drama section, Chicago Justice is holding its own. The show is fairly steady after its initial (and expected) decline. Plus, being part of a successful franchise has a huge advantage, because production companies often try to strike deals for multiple shows. “You want to keep Chicago Fire? Then you will have to take Chicago Justice as well.” Nonetheless, Chicago Justice is getting good ratings and earned its, now, Certain Renewal on its own.
