On St. Patrick’s Day, NBC announced it renewed Shades Of Blue for a third season, although it’s only two episodes into its second. Meanwhile, both Taken and Chicago Justice, two freshmen series, managed to get higher ratings than Shades Of Blue. Both these shows seem to have found some steady ground and a renewal is quite likely for both. Although we will follow Taken and Chicago Justice carefully, for now, both shows get the likely renewal status.

This week also marked the premiered for Trial & Error. The show managed to get quite good ratings for its first episode. As usual, a drop is expected after the premiere, meaning we will not grant this show an upgrade to Likely Renewal just yet. However, things are looking good for the show, especially if it keeps up with these good ratings.
