ABC Predictions: Quantico Cancelled; The Middle Renewed

By on December 4, 2016

Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on ABC:

ABC announced this week that it would move the struggling Quantico to Monday nights starting in January. It will take over the slot from the failed freshman Conviction, which didn’t get any favorable ratings in that timeslot. Quantico already isn’t doing great and is already listed as a Likely Cancellation. It will be interesting to see how big the impact of this move will be, because generally shows do take a hit. And a hit in the ratings is something that Quantico cannot afford.

The Middle has proven once again to be a reliable comedy for ABC. The show is currently in its eighth season, but is still going strong. Additionally, production company Warner Bros. will certainly want to agree on low licensing costs because the real money is made in syndication. And in syndication, every additional episode brings in more money. Therefore, The Middle is now a Certain Renewal.

This week's TV Watch U.S. predictions for the other networks:

  • La Quetta Jo Ray

I’m sick and tired of the TV shows I really like getting canceled and the ones that I can’t stand and never watch keep returning and of all things getting awards. Most of the actors on The Big Bang Theroy can’t even act. What us over 50 watch should be considered more than we are. What we record on our DVR shouldn’t count against our shows, since we record several at the same time and some go to bed so early it might take about 3 days to catch up.
