NBC: Camp is a Toss Up for Renewal or Cancellation
By Daniel Redford on July 14, 2013
Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on NBC:
- Working The Engels cancelled by NBC after five episodes (August 20th)
- NBC Predictions: Taxi Brooklyn Toss Up, Undateable and Welcome To Sweden Renewed (August 10th)
Camp premiered with a 1.5 in adults 18-49, which is quite good during the summer on NBC. However, its lead-in America’s Got Talent, which scored a 2.7, puts the number in perspective. Camp’s Friday repeat did get some additional people to sample the series. All in all, it is simply too early to tell whether the show will survive or not, so it will be a Toss Up for now.
Fake reality series Siberia has dropped below the magical 1.0 barrier. Still, that is not quite low enough to warrant a downgrading to Certain Cancellation, since summer is a relatively new territory for broadcast tv and expectations are not that high.
Speaking of low expectations, Crossing Lines was steady at a series low 0.6, which of course means that it stays a Certain Cancellation.
